Privacy Policy
Effective 1 September 2026
The short version: Phone Vault collects no data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. Everything the app knows lives on your device and never leaves it.
What stays on your device
- Your modes, keys, sessions, and settings — blocking profiles, paired Vault keys, session history, schedules, and preferences are stored only in the app's private storage on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes them.
- Your app choices — when you pick which apps to block, Apple's own picker hands Phone Vault anonymous tokens. The app never learns the names or identities of the apps you selected.
- Your usage data — the Screen Time statistics shown in the History tab are rendered by a sandboxed Apple extension (DeviceActivityReport). That data is Apple's, displayed in place; it is never available to Phone Vault's own code, never written to the app's storage, and never transmitted anywhere.
Network
Phone Vault makes no network requests of its own. Vault keys encode links on this domain, and iOS itself fetches this site's app-association file to route key taps to the app — that is Apple's standard universal-links mechanism, not a transfer of your data. This website is static, sets no cookies, and runs no analytics; its hosting provider (Google Firebase Hosting) may keep standard, short-lived server access logs.
Screen Time & Family Controls
Phone Vault uses Apple's Family Controls framework solely to provide the device management you configure — silencing the apps you chose, when you chose. Device and usage data available through that framework is used for nothing else: it is never shared, sold, used for advertising, or provided to data brokers.
Children
Phone Vault is a personal focus tool that manages the device it is installed on, using individual Screen Time authorization. It is not directed at children and provides no parental-supervision features.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated effective date. Since the app collects nothing, there is very little that could change.
